Norfolk Housing Association’s staff, residents, and Board of Directors would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our first annual Silent Auction event at the beautiful Kensington Riverside Inn on October 5th, 2011.

This event was held as a means of raising funds towards the upgrade of the exterior of one of our key buildings which houses a number of low-income families.

The evening featured over thirty items for auction donated to Norfolk Housing Association by businesses in Kensington as well as other businesses in our extended community and some of our talented resident artists.

We also received significant corporate contributions and support from a number of Calgary’s businesses including Battistella Developments, Axia NetMedia Corporation, Manticore Engineering, Avison Young, Argyle Construction and Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP.

The event was an immense success and over $10,000 was raised through corporate sponsorships and auction items. We are proud to report that 100% of these funds will go towards the much needed upgrades.

Again, we thank all those who attended and bid on the great items that were available. A deep and sincere thank you to our corporate sponsors and those who generously donated items for auction.
