As a nonprofit dedicated to providing mixed-income housing solutions, we understand that stable, affordable housing is not just about having a roof over your head. It's about creating the foundation for good health, well-being, and the opportunity to thrive.

Though the world around has changed substantially since the proposal for what would become NHA was first submitted for community and government backing in 1977, we have remained committed to the foundational elements of who we are, why we exist, and how we honour our mission.

Affordable housing is more than just a place to live — it’s a foundation for stability, independence, and well-being. NHA works to tailor the way in which we add to our portfolio and maintain our units, to meet the specific needs of these groups.
